Hello all,

My mom sent this video to me.  I had never seen it before.  It touched me.  I would like to take a moment to thank all that are currently serving in the U.S. Military.  I would also like to thank all those that have served in any capacity in the U.S. Military.  Most of all, we should honor those that have had the unfortunate duty of serving during a conflict.

Today was about working on my Power Clean skills since I had such a hard time with my form yesterday.  I found a great video on Youtube that broke it down into pieces.  It helped me considerably.  Here's the video:

I spent about 20 minutes working on my form then did some actual sets.  Today's 145 lbs was a lot easier than yesterdays thanks to some form corrections.

Power Cleans:  5 x 95 lbs, 5 x 115 lbs, 5 x 145 lbs

15 minutes of jump rope.  I practiced my double unders.  I'm not a good rope jumper.

Bringing Sexy Back

Well, I'm back.  I don't know for how long though.  I built this website right after Garrett was born.  That was 5 years ago.  I updated it only a little between that time and when Carter was born.  I have not touched it since.  That was 4 years ago.

I've decided that I want to share pictures with my parents and have a place just to post stuff.  I may only have one or two visitors a month, but that's OK by me.  Playing with the website gives me something to learn.  

My first order of business is to start posting my workouts.  With the holiday season here, I know I will be missing workouts so I have decided to do some strength training. Once I have completed my strength training, I will be working on something called CrossFit.  I will be doing CrossFit in-line with my strength training; however, crossfit will become my primary focus when I am finished.
